We have arranged a couple of KF team events recently.

On 16th of September we visited the workshops of a large steelwork contractor. It had been an interesting day, watching cutting, welding, forming and painting of large scale architectural steelwork, some of them very complex and heavy, seeing what could be possible and hearing what had been difficult.

Last week we all drove to Abu Dhabi, visiting some of our projects there. While we had been involved with a few of the calculation packages of Cleveland Clinic, we have never been on site before. The site is massive, the progress is impressive. The other site we stopped by was Al Forsan, with stick system and point fixed glass facades. We are still heavily involved in this project and it is good to discuss the details we have seen on paper in real life with the whole team. It is always fascinating to see how things work out on site.
