Agnes has appeared in Construction Week's interview on facades, issue 511 (Read it here), page 52-53. Agnes also speaks about Burj Vista, a high end residential and hotel development by Emaar, just next to Burj Khalifa in Dubai. The facade of this project consists of room - terrace units stepping in and out in a chessboard like pattern, a constant shift of inner and outer space creating a unique architectural look. This also means the airseal line of the envelope is stepping in and out and at some interfaces, it is not that obvious which way should the curtain wall system drain. Brad has recently spoken at a facade engineering conference in Mumbai, India about facade engineering design challenges, illustrating his speech with the solutions we developed on Burj Vista.
